So there’s no EML with just the blanking and no EGR software delete?

As far as I can tell the egrs still work so may need a delete later but they are blanked off from the intake circuit

Excellent write up and good news on the lack of EML. Have you read the codes to see if anything is throwm up at all that maybe wouldnt cause the eml to trigger? Also did you unplug the egrs from harness?? Thanks Current 2007 TDV8 Vogue Buckingham Blue |

Excellent so to reverse it in the future you just replace that pipe if needs be then too. Any noticable increase in mpg and running? Current 2007 TDV8 Vogue Buckingham Blue |

Kbald , yes reversal is as you say just put the pipes back in , careful though as I destroyed the first one trying to pull it out before releasing the bottom but the gasket holds the bottom bolts so be careful when removing and you can replace at any time

Also the E24 limit can be affected by EGR and if an excess amount is measured then also a fail regardless if you can “see” a modified EGR or not 2009 - L322 5.0 S/C Autobiography |

Each car will be different but my last emissions test had me at just slightly above half of my limit. Unless removing the EGR doubles your emissions, or the tester can see through plastic, I can't see it being a problem. |
