To be fair it might have been fine in February, mine’s been great since I got it 2 years ago until about a month ago when it started misbehaving (only weeks after the warranty ended suprIsingly). New one from Dan getting fitted next week.

I'll gladly send you the valve from mine after it gets changed next week - might be useful for a lot of us if you can source a replacement valve as this seems to be a fairly common problem and Dan did say that the valve isn't listed separately. |

The repair kit is available from LR - see the last post on page 1 of this thread. |

Thanks cass, that would be great. Just a decent picture of the connector with the valve still in the compressor would help to start with, and maybe of the valve itself.

Non-English versions of the TSB can be found on the net which show the repair kit part number for the 4.4 TDV8 in the L322 is LR061463 but getting the correct valve for the particular compressor from elsewhere is likely to cost less.

True, but I don't think so - you could tell when it was running as you got that 'air con' smell. This hardly ever came through back then and misted windows wouldn't demist etc. I had it sanitized when I had the compressor replaced and it's all just lovely now. Mine was a LR compressor so had to send the old one back, but at least it meant that I got a decent warranty on it. 2010 4.4 TDV8 Vogue SE |

Thanks Graeme, I had not managed to extract that from all the Chinese sheets.

No sure if this is any help but the valve in my new PXE16 compressor has “DM6729” marked on it |
