On my 2008 TDV8 I get around 17 - 20 on short journeys and around 25mpg on longer runs - never reached the magical 30 mpg.

Ours mpg’s are real gallons As an aside I think the mpg results get better as the engine gets older .....can anyone else confirm this? Filters are in fact so good that in certain circumstances, when the ambient air is already polluted, a diesel car will tend to extract more particles from the air than it emits. Emissions Analytics worked with........etc etc He who dies with the most toys wins... |

yes i would say so, swmbo has a td6 2006 we have had it since 2009 at 50000 miles if memory serves it would only get 25mpg at best now shows consistent 32 mpg at 60mph at 105000 miles so would have to agree, not had the tdv8 long enough but i do know its better on fuel than the td6.......... |
