engine cut out at lights.. would not start for 20mins then kicked back to life..

Engine light for both banks lean codes.. and car was stumbling hard on throttle..

restarting when stop takes a while now..

checked fuel pressure is lower then should be..

Seems fuel pump in giving up !

New one ordered.. as same BMW X5's saved alot money.. can get aftermarket pump for £30 or boosch for £100-110

Bl@@dy nice weather... forced me to wash it, clay bar it and then polish. Wish it would go back to pouring down.....

Fitted a dog guard yesterday I bought from Ginge on Saturday (Thanks), fits well as it should, not sure if I like it pressing on the rear of the seat top, pressing on the leather, can anyone confirm this is what happens normally, or have installed it incorrectly? (Don't think I have)

Might be fitted as and when I need it rather than permanent  Regards

New fuel pump fitted, Got BMW part, managed to be Bosch pump for £60 brand new !!

swapped over pump and car feels like gained 100BHP... old pump was totally dieing.. starting to cut out on hills..

Up early in the sunshine on safety radio duty for a rally in Wales.

Got the exhaust painted with black spray paint, amazing difference what a couple of quid can do!
Cleaned inside & out then cleaned & treated the leather seats.

Nice day so cleaned it again.. just a quick wash and snow foam to get the dust and mud off.

Sailed through her MOT

Sat looking at her and considering taking her off the road to do the valve cover gaskets and paint the valve covers, do a transmission fluid and filter change and sort the brake lines out.

I'll be doing it myself so need a bit of time to complete it all and the other stuff I uncover

Time to take the plunge I think - unless the weather changes for the worse....... ______________________________
