I fitted spare tyre raising straps. These are pretty much essential to get the spare out of a L322. Very clever way of clearing the spare over the compressor. ______________________________

I used mine to pull a VW golf out of a barn, across a farm on "tracks" and 7 miles home. The pressure washer got a serious work out getting both cars back to the colour they left the factory but driving the FF off-road is good fun and off-road towing is effortless. |

I replaced the osf abs sensor today which went a lot easier than expected, I had to carefully drill the old sensor out as it broke off when trying to get it out but at least the bolt came undone ok. I then thought I'd quickly replace the header tank as I have had the low coolant warning on for ages but the lowest hose connecter fell apart when removing it, the o ring in it had swollen so it wouldn't go back together, I then spent ages trying to find the right size o ring and get it all back together and the best bit is no more warning on the dash |

I've just replaced the switch on the bottom of the ignition due to having intermittent starting problems, getting the centre console out was harder than I thought it'd be but if I had to do it again it would be a doddle as I think I took more out than I needed figuring out where the screws are, wish I took some photos for a how to as I couldn't find one apart from the workshop manual one which isn't that clear. |
