I've fitted these and the reversing lightt output is very good and a great improvement on standard output Mine also flash in time with the indicators but led red - a bit to policey (?) but have been through 2 MOTs with no issues |

Anyone know whether you can buy reversing lamps which have already been converted?

I have only ever seen one set for sale that weren't attached to a car. No one is producing them as the ffrr isn't a high volume car, so the only lights that are available to convert are OEM... with the LR price tag |

Do these flash as the car sends a test pulse around the car to locate dud incandescent bulbs? ______________________________

Thanks miggit. I assume the LCM sends a pulse to the brake light? And that without without a diode will flash like my LED trailer lights? ______________________________

Yes Bud, the LCM, or Light Control Module, repeatedly sends very short pluses to the lights to make sure that the circuit is still working correctly, i.e. the bulb is still functioning and there isn't an open circuit... which would indicated that there was either a broken or missing bulb. When it does this a normal filament bulb is too slow to light up, and it will appear to be off, when a LED is introduced in to this circuit it flashes because the LED reacts much quicker.
