I took mine to a garage as its blowing black smoke and a little worried about the outcome?? hence why I joined FullFat today..... had a Landcruiser for 10 years - No problems, had this 11 months and it has now decided to test how deep my pockets are..... what have I done??? someone convince me I've bought a good motor...ha ha!

Fitted new tyres

I don't want to be getting stuck in a wet grassy field and keen to get out on some lanes so new tyres were in order.

I didn't want to change wheels so went for General Grabber AT 255/55/20.

I'm hopeful that they will provide the right balance for use on-road and gentle off-road.

Swapped the wiper blades over for the flat blades - much quieter Very Happy

Try a basic repair first. Empty, dry out with hair dryer and then seal all around the join with a bead of superglue. Check vent pipe. Worked for me.

Yeah I've looked at it and it looks as though a temporary repair has already been tried before and the outer lens cover is a bad fit. Not worth a second attempt
I've emptied the water out and let it dry put a little, ordered a pair of rears which should be here by the weekend Smile Current:

Replaced the rocker cover gaskets along with all the rubber washers on the retaining nuts and again thanks to the great write up on this forum, made the job a lot easier. Thumbs Up Declan

what did i do with my ffrr this weekend. Well have only had this a few days so, saturday morning, went for breakfast at wimpy. pain from my tooth was getting bad , so off we went to the dentist. Quick root canal and then off we went to the game reserve. There was loads of dust, and only saw some buck and ostrich, so after 10kms , we hot footed it home. No photos of us in the reserve, as i aint getting out. There are lions and who knows whats hiding in the bush.
Today took a drive to the piston ring club, to see the old vintage cars. There are lots , and good nick too, thanks to lack of rust.
I wish i had m ore time because i want to drive to the coast. Swambo drove the L322 for the first time today and she loves it. Says she isn't intimidated by it like she was with the disco 1.
