Having seen that thread on FL2.com when I was doing the Xenon lights on ours it made me think about it.

I've used the IID tool to check that the DAB can be enabled on our cars CCF and am going to order the parts tomorrow.

I asked a similar question about retrofitting it to our SC when we got it but was told it wasn't possible. Shame really as I do love how much clearer DAB is then standard FM.

Stan, there is a benefit upgrading to DAB+ because most of the transmitting is now done in the DAB+ band width in Norway

I live up in the northern parts of Norway with lousy DAB conditions, should have had DAB+ ( and they will switch off the FM net in 2017)

Interesting - incidentally (and I'm going to show my age now) but I listen to Absolute 80s in the car on DAB. They recently announced changing to "Absolute 80s New" but the reception is hit and miss for me. It drops out a lot more and cannot connect half the time.

Is this down to a different transmitter or maybe because its DAB+ or something.? Ash

Upgrade done, install new DAB+ unit CPLA-14F720-BM, working good.

Yes it was easy, just to add the antenna amp to the coax,right side and install the DAB unit on left side,conect coax and MOST, and power. And conect the diagnose GAP, and change setting for DAB.

how do I know if i have DAB ?

Thank You Stan, no, i don't have DAB . I would appreciate if you guys can tel me if i have required wiring for the installation of one in my car.
