Well the guy at Bennington 4 by 4 said that's the battery he recommends due to the size of the car.

With so many people reporting battery problems and non-starting, is there an underlying problem? Or is it like the mysterious D3 air suspension: some drive to the moon and back and never have a problem, whilst others have nothing but grief.

It's not so much battery problems, rather it's electrical faults that are draining the battery, and would appear that the later ffrr's have caught up with the earlier BMW ones |

I went through this last year but never completely got to the bottom of it. It's been fine all year but has let me down twice this week already now it's gone cold. I think mine is due to the short 3 mile journey to and from work with lights, heaters etc on and the battery is not holding quite enough charge due to being drained several times. I now keep heavy duty jump leads, cteck charger and extension lead in the boot |

You either need to move further away from work, get another job, or take the poor old bus for a slightly longer journey every now and then |

I hardly use my truck. I only work a mile from home so generally walk (unless it's raining, then I use the wifes petrol car). Meaning that I put about £30 of diesel a month in the fattie. And I only put this much in cos every week or so I make a special journey up and down a few junctions of motorway just to try and stop the battery getting knackered.

I do try to go the long way home but if I work late, which is quite often, I tend to forget and autopilot home ![]() I don't get out of the office as much these days either which doesn't help. |

The majority of problems will be masked by a new battery. The RR is one big teenage kid that cannot turn the lights off. I nearly sent myself mad trying to eradicate standby current drain. I guarantee most RR just get by because they are used regularly |

Hmm, Me thinks you could be wrong there bud, mines more like a two year old....... very attention seeking, and tends to throw a tantrum if ignored for a few minutes |
