Really nice Ian, that is a keeper.

NDFI would have been proud Laughing .

Thanks .
I think ....

What is ndfi ?

Smile

It's pretty easy really as long as you take notes and don't think about it too much .
A bit like work Laughing

As an example , If you grab your lawnmower and extension lead and when it's plugged in the lawnmower doesn't work :
You have choices ...
1 : plug the strimer into the extension to see if that works . ( if it does your lawnmower is at fault)
2 : plug the lawnmower direct into the socket to see if it works (if it does you have a bad extension)
3 : plug something known to work into the socket to check the socket works .

Pretty simple .
Just remember to flick the switch to turn the socket on !!! Laughing

NDFI= nobody actually knows who/what/where this is ...

some say its a secret organisation started by the knights templar, others reckon its a secret base on the dark side of the moon...

it could also be 'nice day for it', but i doubt it is......

Development.......
Battery tester is coming Monday!

As you may know the Sat Nav was taken out when the new battery was replaced in Dec 2015 and all was well then the non start started again this week.

Reading other post I've noticed the DVD changed is also another thing that causes battery drain. SO after my wife got home and left the cubby door open to were the DVD player is, after 15 minutes the eject button was still flashing. ....after 40 minutes still flashing!!!!!

It's now removed and we shall see if it starts tomorrow morning.
To be fair its started all day today and Friday and Thursday but Monday and Tuesday was battery jumping time.

Watch this space......

@rangeseb - did you manage to resolve this issue on your car.

I also have a battery drain which the auto electrician told me was caused by the left headlamp; however my sons removed the fuse for the satnav/dvd and the battery now seems to hold its charge at 12.6V
