Went sand dune bashing and then a spot of fishing at Wilbinga about an hour north of Perth , challenging to say the least with low profile tyres and with DSC off I felt like I had too much power at times but a laugh all the same .

Steve, put the car in off road height and try the handbrake then in access height... You should find the latter will be rubbish in comparison! Just the way they are I’m afraid & the reason the electric handbrake was developed...

Brake pad warning light came on. Front has had uneven wear on the pads due to sticking calliper on passenger side but certainly not down enough to rub through warning sensor. Any way, new pads and wear sensor wire on front and Bill Oddey warning light still on. Checked rear shoes and not low enough to trigger sensor device. Have ordered new wire for back just in case. Any one know how to turn brake warning light off ?

Thanks to @Haylands advice.,.. 80deg kit fitted - No hammers were used in the fitting. lower temp reduce stress on engine (sounds more relaxed) and hopefully plastic components will live longer. Also reduced temp hopefully less pressure and less leaks.
