Pete, just had a thought, , you should change the description of your ffrr to " 2002 Range Rover Vogue 4.4 V8 Epsom Green Up Armored Northern England Spec. " Yesterday I couldn't spell Engineer... Today I are one!

Chaybra , No, no silly airbag stuff here, can't see a front bumper can make any difference to a decelerometer that isn't fixed anywhere near it anyway...!!!

Should be enough room, my new bumper doesn't protrude forward any further than the original, just replace the metal under bumper (for want of a better word) with a fabricated box section to house the winch, if you remove the aircon rad it would give you a bit more room... lower bumper skin mounts could still be used, you'd have to fabricate some different top mounts for the skin but it shouldn't be too hard... you would have to cut out the rear of the bumper skin but it looks doable, you might lose the central two PDC sensors...

The new one ideally - I'm just after ideas more than anything else, I'm familiar with the structure behind the bumper. The challenge, which I've accepted, is to leave things as functional as they were before. The winch I have (TDS Goldfish) looks like once the solenoids are relocated will bit between the PDC sensors. Similarly looks like there might be just enough room to fit it infront of the air-con radiator...

Don't under any circumstances remove the back box, it is ridiculously loud, makes your ears bleed, children run away screaming, car alarms go off.... etc etc it really is far too loud to leave like it is I have several ideas to reduce the noise to an acceptable level...
