Hi Flow

I am afraid that the kind of damage done to the vehicle is much greater than someone asking what is broken online can cope with, really.

However, prepare to replace the suspension wishbone, bolts, and possibly the antiroll bar and its fixing, if you are lucky the steering rack and the strut are ok.

Do not buy the rack from LR or you will... Well you'll need new undertpants.

further pictures will help the diagnosis. Any local mechanic could do such diagnosis though.

Also do no drive the Rangie as it is if you want to save your steering rack and pump.

Keep us posted and do not hesitate to introduce yourself in the dedicated thread. l=Oo\________/oO=l l:OolΞΞΞΞΞΞΞloO:l

Something wrong with my steering also. It's not very responsive when I turn the wheel.

What do you think I should do?

If the wheel has gone back, you need to get it up in the air to make sure that the front sub-frame is OK and that its just the wishbone thats bent. Your steering is out because the wheel has been pushed closer to the steering rack, which has forced the wheel to point in at the front.
I suspect, from the picture, you'll have to replace the front sub frame. But they are readly available from the breakers (auto salvage) over here, and as such youy should be able to obtain one at a lot less than Land Rover retail!
But I will say that changing this over is a major undertaking, which will requrie the engine being held up on a crane / sling, so that the sub frame can be replaced. A local garage / auto shop should be able todo this. Good luck Thumbs Up Yesterday I couldn't spell Engineer... Today I are one!

I hate to say this but your going to need a steering rack, unless you can find someone to change the track control rod, its well bent! Yesterday I couldn't spell Engineer... Today I are one!

I'd try a new wish bone and bolts to see how far back in to place (forward) the wheel goes, what ever happens it will have to be replaced. Once it done measure the distance between the centers of the wheels on both sides of the Suv. If your very lucky it will be the same, but if its a fraction out you'll need to look at the sub frame. An Auto Body Shop might be able to pull it back in to place if its a minor difference, oh and dont forget to do the steering rack / track control rod!! Yesterday I couldn't spell Engineer... You can get a rack end for them....

I hate to say it but if you have to ask on a forum what bits to change then you really shouldn't be attempting this type of repair, there are endless traps you could fall into, you need a proper garage to look it over and change the parts.

As miggit says, it maybe a lot cheaper to get a whole front subframe with all the suspension and swop it over..

Looks like you will have inner wing damage as well and that will require repairing properly before you bolt a wing on.... Pete

Just from the pictures I reckon you need the following:

Replace both steering rack tie ends
Replace both track rod ends
Replace both lower suspension arms
Replace both track control arms and separate ball joints

Check and possibly replace the anti-roll bar and both ARB drop links

Check that the struts have not got damaged or bent.

If the sub frame is not bent, then this should sort the problems, the above parts aren't too expensive, but I'd get the vehicle checked by a garage just to be safe.

Get a copy of Microcat if you can, it'll give you the part nos. for all the above bits.
