Surely if it wasnt worth £100k no one would be buying them which isnt the case.

Not sure too many will actually handover the full purchase price, i.e financed or leased? |

I might be talking through my arse here, but after having owned all the Range Rovers up to the L322 (Classic - 3, P38 and L322 - all petrol V8's) I really think that LR have seriously lost the plot with this latest model.

The were always over 100,000k here in Ireland for the L322 and people bought them.

I read in the Top Gear magazine that they will miss the L322 because they can open the top tailgate and drive along with a cameraman and his kit in the boot, as a lead car to take action shots.

It seems that the brand is evolving and aiming upmarket in line with the competition. As much as I also sympathise that it should steer clear of the rich footballer type buyers (to maintain company class) the company needs to sell volume in order to survive.

The L405 is growing on me even though I cant afford the £800 a month on leasing for the non autobiography model. Is any car worth £100K+ ? If you are wealthy enough to afford one or it's a subsidised company car you are one lucky bar steward because if I had the money I'd buy one Travelling around in circles again. |

I can try! I'm from Cheshire originally, so I know all the areas there. I agree also with your first posting also, just trying to say that both myself and wife love Range Rovers, even though they spend more time being fixed than they do on the road, but I think they are losing the plot a bit. Remember clarksons comment about the blinged up 2010 model when he said 'it should be renamed the Range Rooney'? That's what I mean. |
