Known problem on some 4.4 tdv8 engines where oil passes from the turbo to the DPF. Get it back to the dealer for repair under warranty Mike

These cars build up oil in the secondary turbo in town driven cars due to sitting idle for most of the time, then when u plant it it spins up and dumps it straight through into the exhaust, its what most of the dpf issues are caused by, filling with oil rather than soot, theres a fix for this involving fitting a more beefy oil drain pipe system which seems to have cured it, take it to a LR dealer its covered under warranty.. |

all fixed and running perfectly: Thanks to Australs Land Rover Brisbane, 2 x Technical Bulletins - reconfigured power train control module with latest level of software; and carried out modified turbo drain pipe
