United Kingdom 2003 Range Rover Vogue 4.4 V8 Bonatti Grey

Just got my IIDTool from Dan yesterday for my 53 4.4 vogue.
A long list of faults cleared no problem.
Now my question may be simple and already discussed but I couldnt dig anything up searching.

Am I right in thinking the air suspension goes up and down after clearing faults?

When mine did this I immediately got the HDC inactive and Air susp inactive bongs/ messages that then disappeared on restarting the car. Is this normal?

57 air susp inact
23 key 0 random code tolerance increased

IIDtool not connecting to laptop or PC

Has anyone had any problems with their iiDtool not being seen by the update software or the control software. When I first got it a few months back it connected okay and I was going to check if it needed an update. I have tried it on my PC as well but still the same. Both laptop and PC are running windows 7 one enterprise and the other home premium. I have set the com port to 4 and the laptop sees it just as a USB com port on com 4. The PC sees it as an other device - iiDtool but can't fully load a driver for it.
Is there a driver downloadable for this? Windows 7 is usually pretty good at grabbing a working driver for just about anything you throw at it.

Re: IIDtool not connecting to laptop or PC

Yes, I had this problem on xp the other day. The updater said it needed updating and after installing the new version it could not detect the iid tool. I reverted to the previous installation using system restore and everything was fine. I happened to be having an email conversation with gap so I reported it to them and they said they'd look into it.

Thanks Stan and Ric for your quick replies.
I had initially tried it on the original updater and controller software and it didn't work so I downloaded the newer software and still nothing. I also did a clean install onto a PC which didn't have it on before and it was the same.

Strange issue - since updating my firmware I now ONLY have the Nav On Move option within IID menu.

Gonna try reinstalling firmware.

you installed the wrong firmware, there are two with the 'nav on move' being the second, install the top/first one... ... - .- -.
