Has anyone had any problems with their iiDtool not being seen by the update software or the control software. When I first got it a few months back it connected okay and I was going to check if it needed an update. I have tried it on my PC as well but still the same. Both laptop and PC are running windows 7 one enterprise and the other home premium. I have set the com port to 4 and the laptop sees it just as a USB com port on com 4. The PC sees it as an other device - iiDtool but can't fully load a driver for it.

Yes, I had this problem on xp the other day. The updater said it needed updating and after installing the new version it could not detect the iid tool. I reverted to the previous installation using system restore and everything was fine. I happened to be having an email conversation with gap so I reported it to them and they said they'd look into it. |

Strange issue - since updating my firmware I now ONLY have the Nav On Move option within IID menu.

you installed the wrong firmware, there are two with the 'nav on move' being the second, install the top/first one... ... - .- -.
