Thanks for the tip Simes, had the key cut and all works perfectly. If it helps anyone in the medway area of kent I had my key cut by MSC automotive in gillingham £12 no questions asked. Just a big thank you to Dave for sorting out the keys, top man

I plan to fit the blade and transponder of my oldest key. I already made the blade fit the original RR flip key and it worked fine (apart from the fact it won't open the central doorlock, which is why I bought a key through Dave).

Anyone know where to get the ring attachments at the bottom? I've tried using a small ring but it looks cheap. Would love to find something like in the picture. I'd pay for a new keychain just to take that piece off and put it on this. |

Strewth I've had a hard time trying to get mine cut today, 4 places turned me away with a generic 'we dont cut keys we dont supply' answer. Getting really frustrated I was about to give up when I remembered a little place that specialises in upvc locks / keys etc. It was like walking into a scene from the matrix with 'the keymaker' and boy did this guy know his stuff. I tried to tell him these keys were supposed to be good quality but he smirked and replied 'they all say that my friend'. He said he would agree to cut the key but if its a peice of garbage it will hurt his key cutting machine and I would still have to pay him even tho he would cease cutting me a key at that point, so I agreed

Unfortunately not by the look of it but thanks anyway. One I went to today said they could but wouldn't do it as not supplied by them and the Timpsons I went to said it was company policy not to. |

Try holding it up near to the door pillar - above the steering wheel. If the battery is a bit low the range could be reduced. I had that problem with one of mine. |

You don't replace the battery in the new keys, they charge while they are in the ignition. Sync the keys sitting in the car. |
