If you've checked all the connectors, then a battery disconnect/reconnect is worth a go. |

It a brand new battery only fitted beginning of December!

Mine does do a "reset" every now and then, but no more than once a week, and only once at a time.

It doesn't seem to reset as the radio still works when the screen is blank!

I would try wiggleing (?) each of the various plugs about whilst watching the screen to see if it comes on, including the sat nav connections.

Mine does the same with a mk3, my mk4 got water damage so had to drop in the old unit and straight away it started doing the on off routine |

Yes, take the blue connection from the tv tuner and plug it into the navigation drive.

No! The splash used to pop up fine but then one day I opened the door and nothing!! After a few mins the radio screen would pop up then disappear?
