OK, I have a technical question again then please. It's not immediately apparent to me yet but can this tool reset the gearbox ECU adaptives section at all?

Is there any way to set FHM to turn on automatically without having to flick the high beam?

The usual response from the guys at GAP is that they don't introduce something that's not there, so if the FMH function needs to be activated in a certain manner, that's the way it works! Got - 2017 SDV8 Autobiography in Loire Blue

It's a shame. My 2010 Sport has this option, unlock the car and the lights come on and lock the car and the lights stay on (when its dark).

IIRC the rear lower actuators are activated by a pulse being sent from the switch. The switch pulse then goes to the BCM which is meant to trigger the actuators together to release the lower tailgate.
