the mock up went well so i think i will whip out my lights and do the full job, the last two pic's dont do it justice as i had the light on the camera shut right down and it started to pic out the individual smd's, you would never get this effect with the normal eye, they appear as one light ring. OK, looking for a bit of feedback. i have all the rings mounted, they fit great.will post some pics when i get a mo, also redone the xenon conversion on my high beam, i have now found a way to fix the bulbs correctly, the kit i used allows you to flash at 75% brightness, it gives you about 1 second flash,, now what i wanted was a bit of feedback on how they should come on. they came with a relay with 2 switch wires, one for the ignition live and the other you can connect to your interior lights so the halos come on when you unlock the car..now i don't know if i will use the relay as they don't draw that much and i fault i could connect them direct.

They look very professional Dave. I would go for them to come on with the ignition and go off when the heads are on.

hi, yes i thought about having them go off when the lights are on but then i would loose the halo on the high beam but if its a legal req, then it will have to be, any one know if it is a legal point or do you have a BMW with halo's and do they go off. I'm normally not a fan of these things, but I'm really impressed by your work, Dave.

thanks for the reply's, i have also done some digging and it appears, if the halos are part of the headlamp them selves they can remain on with the head lamps but if the halos or DRL's are a separate unit then they should switch of when the main headlamp is on...now i think i favor the on all the time with the ignition just wondering if i need to use the relay or can i go with the ignition live in the headlamp..
