Thanks for the quick reply Daveo, I don't suppose you still remember where you got the loom from the one with the split for courtesy lights. I personally think that feature would be awesome.

i've ordered a pair of neon type rings from china to put on top of my fog lights..i should be able to somehow silicon the things onto the light and with the outer trim pressing down on it it should be secure [in theory]

You should test the rings first before fitting I used a battery from a cordless drill. One thing to note the wiring is not logical. There are two wires for the existing sidelights these are black and red. when connecting the halos its not black to black and red to red. Its actually black to red and red to black. hope that helps. Anyone know where I can get my lights converted? I have a spare set of Bi-Xenons which are adaptive and were in the RR when I bought it. I got a set with LED's but these are not adaptive so would like to have the originals converted.

I have the eBay ones but they don't have the. Turning lights. I asked about transferring the bits over from my adaptive lights and was told that it could not be done. When I ordered I was unaware that there were different types for the same shape but ordered as the originals were misted up and one part (now know to be turning light) was slightly distorted. Did think of trying to swap the bits with LEDs from the new lights which I fitted to the old lights but may then end up having to buy a third set if I can't put back together so would rather just try to work on the originals (I can live with the melted bit).
