They just push on. No screws or anything. Cutting to length was the "hardest" bit, I did a test fit, without Vaseline on one side, and then cut the other side to match.

Mjd lists them earlier in the thread. And there is a pic of the label also.

Just tidying up some bubbling at the moment. I put edge protectors on when I got it but this bubbling is more towards the inside of the rear door aperture and seems to be where the door curved weather strip comes in to contact with the body at the bottom of the opening. Could it be rubbing ? |

people put the strip on with a generous dollop of grease or other. I think the trick is to renew the grease etc once a year.

Since it was such a fantastic day up here in Godās own country and knowing my rear arches needed some attention, I picked up the wheel arch strips a couple of weeks back, so today I though Iād make a start on getting rid of the rust.

I checked my recently acquired (last week) and it already has them fitted, an ā07 VSE and always main dealer serviced so I assume it had been fitted if not from new but by the dealer at some time. David Please let me know if my comments upset you, I may wish to upset you again. |

I can't help feeling uncomfortable about fitting a trim to the wheel arch lip - it just seems like a water trap to me.
