Hi,
2. The rear steel bracket that the plenum sits on, has 4 vertical studs and 2 horizontal ones, the two horizontal threaded studs way too long and hard to get it off without risking breaking something, so cut them down to 1cm long. Much easier, why they were 3cm long, no idea. 3. Tip, must remember not to tilt the oil cooler when removing it and put it staight into a bucket, there is still about 1/2 litre of oil and water in there, which I found when I inverted it for a look. so spent a while cleaning up the driveway with her indoors somewhat miffed at the mess. So far all good, spilt oil will burn off over the next day or so even though soaked everything in brake cleaner. Let's hope that's an end to it. A. Fuji White / Jet 2012 4.4 TDV8 Westminster |
