L322 does the same. Gummi pledge (think that’s it) or similar, on the rubber seals to stop them sticking.

I’ve always used spray silicone (Halfords, Amazon etc), onto a cloth and wipe all rubber seals, it protects and prevents sticking. And, a spray on the hinges and into the door catch mechanism also helps. Used it for years. |

ive always just put a light coating of a light oil (WD40 type) with a cloth on the seals of all my cars. Always worked, never any issues. First time FFRR owner |

I had the same issue this morning trying to open my L405 doors. Tonight applied Gummi Pflege Stift. It is excellent stuff and after using my current bottle for a decade, I have ordered a new bottle from Amazon for £12.95 delivered "There is no replacement for displacement" - W O Bentley |

There is a spray gummi and a sponge gummi, the sponge one seems to be more economical...
