Have had my EGR kit ( Allisport) on for about a week now. Engine seems to run smoother but only a slight improvment in fuel consumption.

Well a bit better this week: 25.4 mpg, up from 24.5/24.3, same journeys, but have been a little bit more "assertive" with the driving, actually took it past 3000 rpm twice! Is the car doing some learning on me? not refitted the hose yet. .

Well things are a lot better now. Current average is 10.2 l/ 100 km ( ~27.7 mpg) from ~ 11.1 l / 100 km ( ~25.4 mpg) All figures from factory trip computer but then its all relative. So a nice little improvement. Was it worth it YES

Reattached my vacuum hose today after several weeks of not seeing any real difference in performance, smoothness or mpg (24.5) will see if it goes down now |
