^trick is to use little or no throttle let the car sort it out, and on a bank that steep probably better with one of the more extreme settings, like mud ruts or sand.

planting the foot to the floor usually results in no forward movement.. Thumbs Up There is nothing that can't be fixed with a hammer😜😜

Wet grass is also notoriously hard to grip on - many a 4x4 driver has made a complete fool of themselves on a slightly inclined field.

Thumbs Up

Yep. Tried the little throttle approach and it did make it up the hill. Hill was about 300 foot and bumpy

As I say impressed by the car because you could really see how slippy it was on the way down Also tyres are snow and ice and not grass and mud !!!!! 2015 4.4 AB

Did a little bit more sound deadening .

I started to overheat , so now I'm relaxing in the back with a drink and cig Smile

I plan to finish it tomorrow before the front screen gets resealed on Monday .
Hopefully it'll be quieter ....

The most awful journey in this FF

January 2, 2016; My very special friend, Ranger (I didn't name him) suddenly looked poorly and listless. Got an out-of-hours appointment with our vet. Got him there at 3.30pm.
Long pause here while I compose myself.
he didn't come home with us.
He was only 7.
7 for goodness sake!
Suffice to say that he had several tumours, (completely unknown to us previously) one of which had ruptured his spleen and others on his heart and liver. Inoperable.

We miss him badly.

Im so sorry for this post but had to tell someone, I'm not on facebook.

Sorry everyone.

Mike

Oh Mike - Terribly sorry to hear that. It's no conselation but I know how you feel. I had to lose mine a while back as her back legs had gone and it was the kindest thing I could have done for me best friend.. It was and still is the worst day of my life - and I've been through a messy divorce which was nothing compared to it.

That was 3 years ago and I think of her still and have her photo with me.

Wishing you all the best my friend - chin up - it will get easier..! Ash

Condolences Mike. I too know how you feel. I went through it about 15 years ago and my wife and I were reminiscing about him the other day. It is still hard. We will not have another as the pain when saying goodbye is too much.

Anyway......took the full fat to Green Oval for the lower hub bushes replacing. Waiting for the phone to ring.............

Hi Mike, the only medicine for this problem is time. It is such a hard time and no amount of empathy by others can undo the pain you're feeling. Ranger looks a really happy chap in the photo there.

I had to put down my old Westie (16yo) 4 years ago and still he brings back happy memories.

You'll pull through mate.

Best regards

Did a leak test on the windscreen and found not only was it fitted out of alignment but it had a leak too Rolling Eyes

So yesterday I had the screen taken out and resealed , then fitted all new plastics around it .

They look much better in black rather than grey Laughing
