Yes, they aren't the most obvious. As above, you need to do a bit of feeling around to locate and unwrap them. Kev

Yes I will, maybe a pro can give me a instruction to remouve the D-pillar cover inside, so I can see if the loom is more up at the D- pillar. Thanks for help.....

Update

I managed to remouve the inside D-pillar cover on the rigth side of my car. The loom is 100% not prepared to have the remout control unit there. No cables or antenna present. The location for the remoute control unit is occupied by the SRC unit. I think and hope, the location was changed to another place. Maybe one of you can check in the workshop manual for the location of the unit for 2016 and up models. Thank you. Bow down

The location is still the same on 2016 according to my manual. However, I think we have to conclude that your investigation has proven the wiring is not present. What are you referring to as the SRC unit? Supplementary Restraint Control?

Thank you for the fast replay. The box behind the D-pillar in my car is to my undestanding from the airbag SRS ( Sorry not SRC ) It is wrapped in foam. No other cables or antenna connector are present.

Before you go searching for the connectors in the D-pillar it is worth checking that the required wiring is present at the FBH power connector. If the vehicle is wired for radio-remote FBH operation there will be a thin brown/violet wire at pin 4 on the left hand side of connector C1HF01A shown in the picture below:

If the wiring is not fitted it may be possible to add remote control by tapping into the wiring from this connector to the FBH control unit. I've done this on my '17 and it works after modifying the CCF (note that on 17-on models this currently can only be done with a CCF editing program in conjunction with the JLR Pathfinder software), however for some reason even with the correct CCF settings I cannot get the timed heater options displayed.
Also note that without the water change-over valve connected (which is only fitted when park/remote park heating is specified in the build spec), the Automatic Temperature Control Module will generate a fault code, but this does not stop the operation of the FBH.

[Edited to correct mistake in colour code - sorry to anyone who was misled]

Mines the Webasto unit (MY19). Where should I be looking for the brown/violet wire?

Looking at the photo, I would say you need to look on the right hand side of the large grey connector next to the FBH. A word of caution, the later vehicles with the Webasto may have a different colour code, I've not seen any wiring diagrams for these - also my note earlier was wrong for the colour of the wire (must wear glasses more often Embarassed ) the wire you are looking for is Brown/Violet - the Brown/Blue one is for the heater fuel pump.

Evening all just after any possible thoughts and help, today fitted a new receiver and updated CCF with IID tool and timer climate option came up on screen, tried several times but could not get the remote to pair, removed fuse 1 and put back after 10 seconds, held down off button but light went green then flashed red quite quickly which seems to mean no communication with the receiver, does the ignition need to be on or off when the fuse is removed and replaced. I have set the timed climate to come on in the morning for a single use to see if it will work that ways that likely to happen without the remote being paired and does the diesel heater make quite a noise and make it quite obvious when its running.
Thin brown and purple wire is present as is the diesel heater
Everything went quite numb after being out in the snow so another play tomorrow
Many thanks Big Cry
