For anyone following "MY NEW CAR" thread? Yes i have JLR warranty and for some reason "beyond my understanding" the warranty refused to replace this pipe! Worryingly the JLR MD's were happy for me to collect my car and drive the car away loosing coolant (quite rapidly too)

I’m told the Land Rover Approved Used warranty only covers ‘sudden’ mechanical failure. Corrosion is not not considered a sudden failure. This may be the same for other manufactures too, but I find it difficult to accept that on a £100k off road vehicle this level of corrosion exists after 4 years. Current MY2020

Yet they Okay'd the replacement of the front suspension struts/air springs without question? Cost wise, I'm very glad they did, obviously! But i cannot understand it... |

What you need to do is to find a local indy specialist that can fix all these little niggles for you...

It’s under Approved Used so went into the main dealer for the work, usually I’d just have used a piece of pipe myself.

The pipe without the clip looks like it’s just a sheath? it’s a different diameter to the ally pipe. 2011 (MY12) 4.4 TDV8 Vogue
