How to bleed new fuel filter

hi I went to change fuel filter on my l322 and noticed a dead end pipe along side main fuel filter with a small clear plastic filter on the end as if it is to suck in some fuel...can you help please

You shouldn't need to bleed the fuel filter. May require a few extra cranks initially but should fire up after that. This assumes all is well on the fuel delivery system further back down the line! .

As above, just crank the engine 3 times with out letting it start so as to fill the filter, then go for it.
Might run a little lumpy for a few seconds but will soon pick up.
The dead end pipe has nothing to do with the fuel filter. Thumbs Up

Just stick the ignition on for 20 secs at a time 2 or 3 times to help the pumps refill the system then crank till it starts Thumbs Up Leave it to run for 10 mins so it clears any more air from the system... Thumbs Up

If it still won't start, pull off the plastic engine cover and look for a pipe that has what looks like a tyre valve, remove the cap and push it down as you crank the engine.

Edited to say, this is on the TDV8, the TD6 may not have this. Got - 2017 SDV8 Autobiography in Loire Blue
Had- 2008 TDV8 Vogue SE in Java black
Had - 2007 S/C in Stornoway Grey
