I've never used mine, mostly based on the general observation that it would be OK to use once in the event of a puncture. For routine stuff I use a 3T trolley jack but keep the LR one in the boot for emergency use.

I wrap my bottle jack in an old towel and put it in with the spare wheel, no rattling. |

Also have people purchased one with the horn shaped top, so that it locates better on the suspension arms for a better lift of the wheel
