Also, maybe a stupid request, but anyone got any suggestions of where else I can look to source one online? I think I've done autotrader, ebay, exchange and mart, carfinder etc to death! Many thanks! |

Without wanting to blow smoke up anyone's chuff, have you contacted Gaz Elliott (Gazellio on here)? If you have high standards and want a hassle free purchase, he has some beauts or give him your required spec and he will look for it. (cheque to the usual swiss bank account thanks Gaz!! )

Dolphinboy, I saw that one when I first started looking but I really need a diesel due to potential daily commute. I cant face a 100 mile daily communte in a petrol! Believe me, with all the praise Gary gets on here I would be more than happy to pick one up from him but sadly nothing else in stock atm from what I can see!

You've got to enjoy and absorb yourself in the searching and buying process. It's an intensely pleasurable experience and one which, when over, leaves one saddened.

I'm just keen to buy one before the winter premium hits the prices even more, I'm actually surprised at the increase in the past month!

I bought mine at 114,000 miles and being "only" a 2008 I figured it would been mostly motorway driving as opposed to 30,000 of hard work on "the land".

Number 1 is a non-facelift, whereas the other 2 are, so I'd tend towards numbers 2 & 3 myself Got - 2017 SDV8 Autobiography in Loire Blue

If you are interested in widening your search area, these cars are on offer in N. Ireland. The 1st one is my old car and was a pleasure to own. Everything worked and had no faults when I traded her in three weeks ago, low tax bracket to boot and comes fully loaded, RSE, Remote heating, venture can etc, etc.

B9er- I am looking for ivory/ parchment interior so sadly yours doesnt suit me, plus potential massive commute rules out the SC option!

If it was me, I would be chasing the Basingstoke TDV8, slightly more economic than a TD6 and generally perceived to be more reliable.

I would like to suggest to go for the TDV8 as it has the more reliable gearbox (although that is quite funny coming from the only forum member that had problems with that type gearbox ).
