Really? So I should be looking to get some money off? My bro spoke with him last night and he was saying he paid over the odds for the car, its immaculate etc etc. Said he cant even tax it, but he will MOT and service it. They are based in Cardiff so would need to fly down but he said if we go down and car isnt exactly how he described it he will refund flight costs. I am not good at the bartering thing, may need to pass it to the old man to deal with, he is the most argumentative soul on the planet |

Cannot comment on the price but seems like a nice car from the pics. |

Does look nice. Not unlike my own. It has SC wheels, which weren't standard fit on a Vogue SE, so you might want to check on wether they're genuine LR, or copies.

He just said something about paying over for it and not being able to throw tax in with it. But thats a good point about the tax, I wouldnt be able to drive it home. Is it unreasonable to expect it to be taxed?? I'll ask about the wheels, thanks for the heads up! Need to do some more research about price and try to get some money off if poss! |

I think that he's saying he WON'T pay for tax, rather than CAN'T. he can tax it for you and you pay him for it if/when you pick the car up. Got - 2017 SDV8 Autobiography in Loire Blue

I would push them to put at least 6 months road tax on it. But I am sure your other half would be able to argue that one.

Seems a bit pricey to me. THis one went for just under £16k. 93,000 miles.

Good spot Dolphinboy. Interesting thing is it didn't sell for some reason so up for sale again. 2 days to go.

He was adamant that there was no moving in price but Im going to see if someone more presuasive will have more luck with him. I'm also thinking need to add tax to it if he wont pay that and then fuel home from Cardiff! So will end up a good couple of hundred pounds more. Decisions decisions! Im just aware that the prices are going to creep up even more as the winter approaches! |
