The fault has reappeared on allcomms. I'm also getting another fault since taking out the seat which wasn't there previously/ "drive buckle pretensioner".

it would be handy to know which airbag is faulty and/or what is causing the airbag light to come on ...have you considered removing fuses to see which part is faulty [if this is possible that is].. ... - .- -.

Found the fuse (44) its fine and removing /refitting has made no difference. Just left the battery off for 3/4hr too- still no change.

ebajema is right, well worth running through all the ECUs and clearing all faults, due to the daisy chain effect! .

Tried them all and cleared the faults I came across. Still the same.

this probably wont help, (re urgent MOT) but I had an airbag fault light on mine (TDV8 2007)

Been to the garage today and they stuck the Testbook on and its the ECU thats gone.

Sorted. Bought a used ECU off the bay for £40 and fitted it last night. Airbag light now out! |
