Mine wasn't a leak either.. a lot of the problems started when my battery was on the way out.. the classic symptom is the amp crackling when the battery starts to drop.

The suggestion (and a general rule of thumb) is to remove the negative terminal of the battery. I didn't and simply unplugged the connection to the pump, covered it in a plastic bag and tucked away..

Doesn't need to as long as you can identify which side needs done.. my view was I'm there.. May as well do both to avoid any issues |

I had to cut mine, there was no chance of it unscrewing.. best to cut it off as you dont want to break the bracket on the chasis it screws onto. |

Hi folks, the rubber tie that holds the fuel cap has perished and broke (see picture). Assume you can't buy it on its own. Has anybody got any ideas and suggest a mod?

Good idea, but as some others have said too.. its not as straight forward as it sounds.

I always use premium. Have used BP Ultimate for years but since they stopped doing Nectar points, I have moved to Esso Supreme+ Diesel (B7).
