Bit of a thread resurrection here but I’m trying to replace the rear O/S flexi brake pipe.

You undo it from the nut you see at the top of the pic where the old metal pipe is shown. It's years since I did mine but think that fitting goes inside the Flexi hose with a flared pipe end. Use a spanner in the flex so it doesn't twist. Current 2007 TDV8 Vogue Buckingham Blue |

If you try to undo it with an open ended spanner you risk rounding it off...

Alternatively if you are replacing the metal brake pipe just cut it off and use a 6 point socket to prevent it rounding off. If you aren't replacing them then the a flare nut spanner is a good shout. Current 2007 TDV8 Vogue Buckingham Blue |

I had to cut mine, there was no chance of it unscrewing.. best to cut it off as you dont want to break the bracket on the chasis it screws onto. Current:
