| I Have just fixed this on mine, mine was the fan assembly in the back of the seat, the part was around £125 and I got my local garage to change it for me. |

No. It seems that both the seat and back don't work, hence me thinking it might be a fuse.
I guess further dealer investigation is needed.

Yes. It's climatic, hot and cold.
I have only had the car since November so needless to say I have never tested the cold, but hot did work a few weeks ago.
