Hi

I ahve just bought a MY2011 L322 and have an issue with the remote diesel heater. When I press the remote on switch the green light flashes for about 2 seconds and then stops, the heater doesnt switch on.

I have had the car battery checked at Halfords and they say it is OK (readings below) and I have also changed the batteries in the remote.

Does anyone have any 'easy checks' before I take the car to the stealership?

Battery readings:
12.45v
790 EN (A) - Measured
850 EN (A) - Rated

Starter Test
Cranking 11.67v

Charging Test
No Load 14.77v
Load 14.75v

Rated - Good Battery

Fuel Burning Heater

When did you test it - as it needs to be cold enough to operate ?
Can you turn it on manually from the dash ? i.e. is i the heater or remote that is a problem ?
