Yes. We bypassed it. Cut the plug out and joined the wires.

Have you investigated the electrical connector referenced on LTB01083 which is for P0088-17?

Yes. That was one of the first things we did. Honestly don't know where to go now...

Call me stupid but … have to you cycling the ignition a few times before attempting to start it?

RR 2012 4.4 tdv8. About 3 weeks ago it just cut out. A few weeks before that we noticed it spluttered a bit, for a few seconds and that was it. When it cut out, we had the fault code p0088.... replace ...
