Thanks for the advice...
but my TD6 has a gearbox fault so i'll keep that favour to get a new box from him ;-P as i'm sure thats what it needs.. |

Thanks guys i'll have a look at those bits and also wouldn't do the cat bypass because of the smell and live in london and I get  off with how horrible the air is hahahaha |

Great ideas guys  couldn't do catalytic converter as live in london to spend a lot of time sat in traffic and the smell would bug me but still great suggestions |

Hi, I cut the pretensioner and belt off, then fitted a replacement... if it's melted when the bearing has gone like mine had;
a) it's a to remove
b) you may need to look at the other pulley ... |
