I have some of the, apparently normal, upper tailgate corrosion (see pic).
What have you done to fix? Is it a blast fill and re spray job? Replace the tailgate itself?

Already done mate - dealer is not the issue so I've raised the problem direct with JLR.

Yes I know that the hourly rate covers all the overheads as well, but really frustrating to have a £20 seal go so early in the vehicles life and neck end of 3 grand to change it.

Mine has started leaking at 63k miles and had it replaced. 15 hours and main dealer job rather than indy.
