It doesn't matter where i leave mine, though generally i dont think its ever been below 21'c on the dial and i am an 'old skool' FFRR but it shouldn't make any odds as its just heating the interior up as best it can as most of the heat will escape when the door is opened Sad

I must get mine sorted out. Its only ever blown cold air since I've had it. On the menu, it says "Aux ventilation" or something. Haven't got a remote, so I assume I haven't got the receiver (can't see it in the boot) 2010 MY Vogue SE TDV8 3.6 Stornoway Grey- fully loaded

How do you know if you have a FBH ?

Do you have a different option on the computer ?

If you only have the "timed" version, can you add a remote, or is that only for later vehicles ?

Cheers

as to why that is, I am mystified.
Does anyone know why the MY11 started having problems?

i had the battery change made no diff however there was a recall for a module recently that seems to be the issue , you can tell if its the problem park the car up unlock it and if you hear the fans run up inside the car that causes continuous drains every time you open the doors even if you do not even turn the ignition on. Now i have 11.5MY with no issues Smile Far to many gone...

Approx how long did it run for? It will turn off if the battery isn't at full health to avoid running it flat. Also the remote can be set to winter or summer mode I believe. In summer mode it only runs the fans to ventilate the car...

It ran for about 10 mins just like the fans blowing as you described. How can I change it to winter mode? Range Rover SC 35th Anniversary 2006

no such thing as winter or summer mode.
Above 15 degrees ambient temperature, the system will vent only
Below 15 degrees, the FBH will heat cabin
at very cold temps, the system will pre=heat the engine

thats interesting, so in the summer you could set the timer [or if you have a remote system] to expel the hot air so it wont be to hot when you get inside..

its broken.... Mr. Green

does it work with the timer.
do all the other heating controls work.
have you checked any relevant fuses.

you could try dis-connecting the battery and see if that re-boots something..

MODE
To display the current mode, press and hold the [ON] and [OFF] buttons at the same time.

If the LED shows RED the appliance is in heating mode
If the LED shows GREEN the appliance is in ventilation mode
