Ouch that's a pain. Anybody with a late 05/55 onwards check now as you'll still be covered by Land Rover's Anti-Corrosion warranty. |

I think you'll find they will turn around and just say that you haven't had the yearly body inspection hasn't been carried out and just fob you off |

The rust that you have has I suspect been caused by water accumulation inside the panel and is now through

Had a look at mine tonight - took the nearside plastic trim and chrome side bar off, not to bad but definately worth the effort to remove as there are clear signs of danger. Rust converter and a good seal to follow.

Yes, mine has chrome bars which came off first - 2x 13mm bolts and 4x 10mm. The trim was held on by half a dozen plastic screws which came off very easily.. well worth a couple of hours if you have an older ffrr and want to keep it intact.

On the offside the WABCO Air Reservior is stopping the removal of the chrome side bar. Which may stop the removal of the plastic side sill cover. Has anyone had any experience of removing the reservior? (It looks like a small silver coloured silencer).
