which egr bypass kit would you buy, both £35 delivered..

i would go for the black one as it has a flare to stop the intercooler pipe blowing off under boost.

it is for the air intake, but as with any turbo engine that becomes pressurised with forced air pressure from the turbo and with out a lip the pipe could under full boost blow off. a nasp engine only sucks air in through that pipe but a turbo is forced air induction hence the pressure.

Interesting thing about fitting these egr bye-pass kits is "are they an engine modification?"
You may be about to find out come January when you take a car for an Mot as in the additional test items is "engine modifications". I think it mainly relates to engine re-mapping / chipping but fitting an egr could well constitute an engine modification and as such be a point for failure.
Time will tell.
