Ok, getting my EGR blanking kit done next Friday. I'll do my best to get an idea of process as I am not doing the work. I'll also feedback on any diffference to economy and performance of my tractor |

apparently the freelander td4 egr bypass kit is the same as the fullfat td6 so there's a possibility you might find it cheaper..... |

I bought the top one, but the bottom one looks like it has a place for the vacuum hose to be fitted.

the allisports one looks really good and well made but has a price premium....the bottom one of my pics looks to have a better weld around the base i think.. |

I bought one from Allisport. It's a really nice looking piece of kit, which is a bit of a shame, because when it's fitted it's hidden. They don't seem to list one now for the TD6, but the picture of the TD4 version on the website looks identical to mine.

I don't understand the need to buy a kit.

the difference by leaving the existing valve in place is the air restriction..the bypass kits are straight through so loads of nice cold air gets to the engine.. |

Won't make a blind bit of difference imo ![]() You'd actually get a greater benefit taking the inter-cooler out and cleaning the inside and outside throughly. That will increase the air mass flow into the engine. |
