Driving position wise, they're both very similar with the only major change internally being the updated instrument panel with the second lower touch screens and redesigned door cards with the seat controls on them.

Interesting to see how you get on with it, I believe deleting the exec rear seating was an option on the AB, I saw one earlier this year which was my dream spec but was too busy buying another car so I missed out.

How are you getting on with the 350 vs the v8? Iāve been online fantasy shopping and thereās one which has grabbed my attention, itās an AB with the signature audio, opening pano, electric steps, roof rails, auto tow bar and an ivory dash and headlining, all of which are on the nice to have list!! So Iām v tempted.

So far Iām very happy with the D350 compared to the SDV8 and it seems a bit more responsive than the SDV8. Although fuel economy wasnāt a huge consideration I am finding on a decent run I can easily get 520 miles on a tank, compared to around 450 for the v8 Although pretty comfortable even on long journeys, Iām still tweaking my seat position (thereās just too many adjustments ). Took me a few months with my last one so will get there. The rear exec seats are nice but do compromise the boot space a little. I knew this would be the case but rarely need the max boot space anyway. Besides, my daughter likes the Thunderbird style powered centre console With fewer late L405ās around now I would say if youāve found one that ticks all or most of your boxes then now might be the time to change. Itās why I decided to switch now as I wanted the backup of an approved LR warranty and there are almost no suitable L405ās listed on their site as they are all now 3+yrs old. 2021 D350 Fifty Edition - Carpathian Grey 2017 4.4 SDV8 Autobiography (2021-2024) - Santorini Black 2012 4.4 TDV8 Westminster (2016-2021) - Santorini Black |

Mark, if you happen to buy from group 1 [inchscape] then consider their 3 year warranty/breakdown at Ā£1750 for the whole duration...

Thanks Geoff. Yes, they are a great spec. Seems to be standard AB but with a few SVA bits thrown in, like the wheels, and then whatever options were specced when it was new. 2021 D350 Fifty Edition - Carpathian Grey 2017 4.4 SDV8 Autobiography (2021-2024) - Santorini Black 2012 4.4 TDV8 Westminster (2016-2021) - Santorini Black |

Lots of things to get my head round and SWMBO's head exploded trying to work out the thousands of combinations of seat adjustments
