Well, as noted in my “Wanted” thread, I’ve now put down a deposit on a 2021 Fifty Edition, a D350 in Carpathian Grey with Black Pack.
Wasn't particularly looking for this colour combination but I think the black pack goes really well with the Carpathian Grey.

Experience with the dealer (Hatfields in Pickering) has been really positive so far and I expect collecting it will be no different.

Hopefully, once paperwork sorted should be picking it up next week. Can’t wait.

I’d not previously considered Carpathian Grey (tend to prefer black) and did see one without the black pack and was a bit underwhelmed, but the black pack really does make a difference to the look of the car, much smarter with the dark grey rather than the contrasting light trim of the “non-black” Fifty’s.

I had thought about swapping to an early L460 next year but I’m not sure whether I’m a fan of the interior yet. However, after reading on here about the lack of late L405’s decided that now was likely the last chance to get a late L405 as once they pass 3 years old they are less likely to be available as approved used.
I agree about the drive home, it’s about 300 miles for me so I’m going to get home with a pretty grubby car which I will have to wash on Thursday (at least the forecast is suggesting a bit of sun and no rain)

I missed out on a Fifty a few weeks back because I hesitated about distance and whether I should see it first before making a decision, so reserved this as soon as it was listed knowing that I can always get the fee back if I didn’t proceed.
