The other reason it’s quiet in the P38 area is they’re so reliable….😂 |

This is probably the reason 2000 P38 4.0 HSE auto - RHD - just needs a little love. |

Excellent, I’m glad someone is tuned in. I’ve just had couple of quotes to do the underside of mine, wire brush / clean / rust treatment and then Dinitrol. Looking like £750 plus the contribution to govt fraud. A couple of places in Cheltenham seem pretty good, PCM being one of them. |

That's what I've also been doing to mine. Brake calipers and backing plates were very crusty so I've started to rub them down and used Vactan rust killer followed by "red lead" Screwfix primer (very good) and black chassis paint. I've done one side and any other surface rust on that side. Other side still to do. |

Brilliant cars. Had ours for 17 years now, even though all the experts warned me to not even think about it at the time. It is far from immaculate but a great workhorse, still looks good and to me, more comfortable than my L405. It must be a classic now because people in other FFs ( not only P38s) have started to wave. |

I had a 98 4.6 HSE for about 4 years. Reg started with P and ended with PPP.
