The other reason it’s quiet in the P38 area is they’re so reliable….😂

Mines still going strong after 16 years. Needs a temp sensor-a bit fiddly to change-so using phone and torque lite and an air conditioning drier-the old one rusted out. Will get these done when it warms up a bit! Changed lots of wheelnuts last week as well as the originals were swelling up.

This is probably the reason 2000 P38 4.0 HSE auto - RHD - just needs a little love.

Excellent, I’m glad someone is tuned in. I’ve just had couple of quotes to do the underside of mine, wire brush / clean / rust treatment and then Dinitrol. Looking like £750 plus the contribution to govt fraud. A couple of places in Cheltenham seem pretty good, PCM being one of them.

That's what I've also been doing to mine. Brake calipers and backing plates were very crusty so I've started to rub them down and used Vactan rust killer followed by "red lead" Screwfix primer (very good) and black chassis paint. I've done one side and any other surface rust on that side. Other side still to do.

United Kingdom 2015 Range Rover Vogue SDV6 Corris Grey

Brilliant cars. Had ours for 17 years now, even though all the experts warned me to not even think about it at the time. It is far from immaculate but a great workhorse, still looks good and to me, more comfortable than my L405. It must be a classic now because people in other FFs ( not only P38s) have started to wave.

United Kingdom 2013 Range Rover Autobiography SDV8 Baltic Blue

I had a 98 4.6 HSE for about 4 years. Reg started with P and ended with PPP.

Such a powerful motor and so comfortable.

Also contrary to most - it never let me down. apart from that is the central locking decided to effectively seize the NSF door resulting in the need to basically destroy the door card. Other than that I'd have it back in a heartbeat.

Much cheapness to buy now. 405 AB exec seats Baltic and Cirrus
93 RR Classic efi

Remember it's easier to get forgiveness than permission!

Gone in order:
4.4 TDV8 SE - gone to a good home
93 Classic hard dash Plymouth Blue
03 L322 Oslo Blue
2000 Disco TD5 ES Epsom Green
98 P38 Rioja Red
89 Classic Cairngorm Brown
