Quiet in here?

Not much happens in this forum. Are there not many of us P38 owners? __

There’s not much to write when they just work 😬!

I don’t see many on the roads and certainly not any that I’d call cared for. Perhaps there are a few Holland & Holland, Westminsters and the like tucked away somewhere?

United Kingdom 2012 Range Rover Autobiography TDV8 Santorini Black

^^

I've just heard of an H&H P38 being sold for £15,000 which sounds a lot until......

22,000 genuine miles
one owner from new
vehicle at least or better than new condition
owner was fastidious and would replace anything remotely 'not right' eg slight surface 'corrosion' on the aluminium on the front 'shocks' so he replaced all four corners, entirely
serviced every six weeks..... yes, you are reading that correctly
always new and genuine LR parts used
new and unused H&H gun box included, a very expensive option which he didn't ask for; it was in the car when he bought it and on finding it, the supplying dealer basically said, don't worry, just keep it!

Owner has just bought a brand new Range Rover; don't know what model.

I am on the look out for a P38, loved my old one and want it to do a particular job, however when you look at 2001/2002 Model years early 2002 L322s seem to be a better buy if you know what to look for. Thumbs Up

£15k sounds like a bargain for that, what a great find for someone!

That’s special, it would have cost a few £ when new. Imagine trying to get the tech in that working properly!

One thing that drew me to the Bordeaux was the lack of tech, it was built to come in under a tax bracket, so no sat nav, no electric seats etc, all quite simple.

It's sooooo cool but also a rolling lesson in tech obsolescence - my iPhone can do everything they packed that car with. Cheers, Greg

I started registering for this forum a while back, but I didn't complete when I saw that you couldn't state what car you own if it's before 2002.
This is weird since there is a P38 section on the forum.

I suspect this puts a lot of P38 only owners off the site. 2000 P38 4.0 HSE auto - RHD - just needs a little love.

The full fat forum is an L322 forum as far as I’m aware. The P38 section was added as there are quite a few of us with P38’s Smile

For a P38 dedicated forum, there’s a huge amount of knowledge over on rangerovers.pub Smile
